Cap One Auto CO/Settlement Question

I have an old Capital One Auto account that was charged off, then settled. It currently has a 0 balance. When should this fall off my credit report? Here are the dates of specifics:

May 2011 - 30 days late (DFD)

October 2013 - payment made

December 2013 - 30 days late and no more payments made

May 2014 - Charge Off

September 2015 - Settled

Coincidentally, it fell off Experian a couple weeks ago.

Thank you!

I think the first 30D from 2011 will fall off, but 7 years from the 30D late that led to CO

Re: Cap One Auto CO/Settlement Question

Are you saying you think it's 7 years from the date of first delinquency (May 2011), or the last payment before CO (October 2013)?

Re: Cap One Auto CO/Settlement Question

The date of first delinquency is the first late that began the rolling of lates that led to the charge off. If you were late in 2011 and then brought it current, that's not the DOFD. Have you pulled your free annual credit reports? That will show when it's supposed to drop off.

Re: Cap One Auto CO/Settlement Question

I was affraid of that. It fell off Experian last week (jumped 35) so I was hoping that would happen with the other two as well. Guess I'll just have to wait on my very last negative item.
