I noticed that Cap One is using an old EQ score (30-45 days old) for CLI requests. Any idea how and or when they update this? My score is far better now than it was even 30 days ago...
I just realized CAP1 does SP for CLI through EQ, I am now suprised that I am getting denied due to EQ being my highest score out of the 3. I just applied for a CLI back on 04/30/2019, How can you tell what the lastest CR they used? I just fixed my address to the one associated with my Cap1 account

Take a look at your denial letter. On the second page where it shows the score, the date of the report is next to it.
On the denial letter for Cap1 1st page is the reason for the denial, 2nd page is just the equal credit opp and no info on EQ date used or score and the 3rd page is the FAQ which doesnt have the stated denial reason....I wonder if me being opted out of offers is an issue with Cap1?? They dont give any offers when I do the pre-qual page...
I just did a pre-qual to see, since I've opted out for some time now. It states can't pre-qual now and asks if I have opted out of any pre-screened credit offers. Not looking for one with them now, as they are the stingiest of all my revolvers on CLIs. But now I wonder since I get a little here, and little there every once in awhile, if my opt out has anything to do with it.
Well to answer the original question, I would think Cap1 would use the latest CR with EQ? I mean are they are not updated daily or weekly? I am unsure how the bureaus update their information? I called Experian yesterday to see about a dispute I had open about putting back an AU account, and they told they put that account back on yesterday 05/30/2019. I was expecting an alert today from the various CR agencies I have accounts with and nothing. So I am guessing it might take a couple of days to update this new information, but to use a 30 day report in the original question is not good.
I also opted back into credit offers yesterday to see if that fixes my issues with Cap1 pre-quals and CLI…said it will take about 5 days to reflect change.

My CLI request was dated 5-28-19 and the EQ report they pulled listed on the 2nd page of denial letter was dated 4-30-19 along with an outdated score. I suppose this is a YMMV situation.
