Cap One reporting?!

I have had my Capitol one secured card for three months now and it is still not reporting to any of the bureaus. I called them and they told me they report after my statement closes, and to call the credit bureaus to see what is the hold up? Has anyone had any issues with them reporting?

Thanks!

Have you used it? Has a balance due reported on your statement?

Re: Cap One reporting?!

It's not unusal for some creditors to take a while to first report.  Don't overlook prior discussions as a resource:

Re: Cap One reporting?!

I was approved for mine the first week of December and they started reporting this week. Acutually I didn't even have the card for a full month and they were reporting. Which messed me up because I pay my balance once a week and was planning to pay  Friday and it reported on Thursday. I got hit with high UTI. But now I know when they will report they will not get me no more.

Re: Cap One reporting?!

Capital One took 2 full statement cycles to start reporting for me.  YMMV, but this seems to be quite normal for Capital One.
