I just started rebuilding my credit not quite two years ago. My wife put me on her Capital One as an authorized user. I have seven other credit card accounts of my own but they are all less than two years old. Some of them only a few months. The capital one card dates back to 2005. She added me a couple months ago and my score jumped up from at the time 673 to 691. I just noticed my Equifax score dropped from 693 as of a few days ago to 676. That's when I realized Cap1 stopped reporting to Equifax even though TU and EX still show. Is there any reason Capital One would stop reporting me as an authorized user? And is it likely that they are going to stop reporting to the other two bureaus?
There's certainly a reason but you'd have to inquire with CO to find out as there a nomber of potential reasons and we have no idea which one would apply in your case.
Has the account been inactive or reporting 0 balances?
It has been used recently but very little overall use. It is at a zero balance now. We put 10 dollars on it a couple months ago and then paid it.
Just started reporting again. Got an alert this morning. EQ Fico went from 679 to 697
