No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
If I go to the card match site and see what it thinks I qualify for, up pop a lot of Chase card -- Freedom, CSP, etc., all come up as matches. This suprises me because I have opened six accounts in 14 months, totally disqualifying me according to that 2 year rule.
And if I go to the Chase prequalify site and enter my information, as expected it says they have no offers for me -- no doubt because I have 6 new accounts.
So is cardmatch BS? I guess so, or is there some magic if you go through their site?
Major trust buster...
Sites like this do not underwrite nor do they have access to underwriting for Chase. Or for any creditor for that matter. At best they can rely on some sort of correlation (which is never the same thing as causation) if they have access to some credit data and/or score. These sites typically get referral fees for people that click through and apply for the suggested cards. As always, consider the source. Even a creditor's preapproval isn't a guarantee of approval.
I have Card Match and CK throwing AmEX ED and BCE at me.
They really want my EX HP's.
