Cellphone Reporting

Would it help my credit if i apply and get approve for cellphone? Or are cellphone companies only reporting in cases of collection?

Any suggestion which cellphone to get and which Credit profile they pull? Thanks

They pull a hard inq (bad) and only report lates, not good payment history (even worse)  Smiley Sad
