So I have chase student loans, pay diligently every single month. However March 2013, a representative I guess,just never made that payment and didn't find out about it until it was exactly 31 days past due!
Well, I tried to dispute many times, but with no luck. After awhile I just shrugged it off, but within the last month chase sold all of their student loans to AES.
Abd now I know why my score increased 40 points!! The baddy was removed completely from my CR!! I thought it would stay on no matter what for 7 years??? Not that I am complaining, but anybody have that happen before where a loan account gets sold off to somewhere else and negative history disappears? Also, I see chase student loans is listed now as closed and a new one opened up under the AES name.
