Child support

I just noticed on my credit report that child support services are showing me late 60 days, I am not paying my full child support after changing jobs with much lower pay. I have a cout date next month to change support. Does this kind of late hurt my credit score ?

Re: Child support

Yes  this type of late would impact your score.  How much depends on your particular CBR.

Did you put paperwork in advising the court of your change in salary back when it occured?  If so, I am wondering if they will correct it since you did notify the court... I guess as long as you still paid at least what it would be adjusted to.

If you are being represented on your court date, maybe the attorney would be of help in seeing if this is easily fixable.
