Barclay is a bank that issues credit cards - Visa and Mastercard.  They have different accounts like AirTran, Barnes and Noble, Harvard Alumi...blah...blah...blah.

A Goodwill letter is a letter you write to a creditor explaining you situation as far as being late and asking for special consideration in having the baddies they report removed from your CR.

 Not a stupid question!  I am new at this too and everyone is so informative and patient when you have questions.  Remember when your teacher used to tell you no question is a dumb one, well that is true here.  It is all part of the learning process.  Stay in the forum, you will learn a whole lotta stuff.
