Based on my experience with Citi - anything is possible, but it will take a lot of work. I had both a Citi Checking Plus and Citi LOC. I wanted to roll my Citi Checking Plus credit line into my LOC considering my desire to close my deposit accounts. I tried various channels with little success. I was constantly told that becasue they were seperate products, this was not possible.
Towards the end, Citi made a few big mistakes with my deposit accounts. The situation was esculated to a regional VP. After approx. 2 weeks, she was able to pull a few strings and have a portion of the Checking Plus account moved to my LOC.
