Hi, at the beginning of the year, I was approved for a 4k line of credit from Citizens Pay for Microsoft, which I used to buy a Surface Laptop Studio. I was really interested in the upcoming iPhone 16 and noticed that Apple has a Citizens One financing option. Would this be the same line of credit? If so, would I somehow be able to use my existing line of credit or would this result in a new hard inquiry? Thank you for any advice/insight.
Does your current line of credit show as an installment loan ? From their FAQ:
Can I change my monthly payment amount?
Your iPhone Loan is an installment loan program, and the monthly payment amount is fixed.
I would interpret this to mean that you'd be applying for a new installment loan with associated inquiry.
I see it as a line of credit and when I looked up the merchants for Citizens Pay, I don't see Apple. So yeah, I guess it would likely be different and result in a new hard pull since it seems to be a different program. Not sure if I want to take the hit as my scores are currently in the 640s due to a rather high credit usage (51%), so my scores definitely aren't as good as when I got the Citizens Pay for Microsoft.
Thanks!
How much does this iPhone cost, anyway? You got a $4000 tablet? Does it cook breakfast? I bought a new laptop last year for $129. Has a small ssd, I put a big usb stick in, works fine. Waits for keyboard inputs plenty fast enough. Don't do video games. It can solve cos x -x = 0, can yours? Roflol.
For $4000 id expect some bitcoin mining.
