From what I have read regarding todays policies on closed by consumer or creditor, it really does not matter.
Previously, a ways back it did matter who closed the account on your credit report, but vast changes in the consumer marketplace has now put no signifigane on that and fico scoring.
The statement of who closed the account, has no impact on credit score. Because creditors and developers of risk based consumer software are alwys adapting to the current consumer market, the importance of who closed the account is not a good indicator or risk. We close open let cards close due to inactivity these days, allowing that statement to make little to no difference.
