Collection account question

We had a Gemb/Walmart account that was in collections when we entered into a DMP program with CCCS.  Payments were being made to this account to NCO - since Oct 2005.  In June 0f 2006 we received a letter from LVNV Funding that this account had been purchased by them.  The letter stated that their records showed that the account was being paid through a credit-counseling agency and asked contact at CCCS to insure payments would be process correctly.  Now I have pulled my CRs and this account (LVNV) is showing the entire balance as late or delinquent.  Also payments are not shown being made even though the balance is correct.  My EX Shows 'OK' or 'Paid as agreed' 3 times out of the 20 payments made and 'CO' for collection for the other 17.  It also shows 90+ days late 17 times.  Is this the normal way these places report to credit reporting agencies? It has never been 'late' to LVNV.

Re: Collection account question

Oh, and also, like the 'Tricky' post by 26million, this account is showing as an 'open account' with a term of 1 month.  They knew it was a revolving account when they purchased it and that it was in a DMP program.  How can they do this?  Who do I dispute, LVNV or the CRAs?  Or would a GW be better?

Re: Collection account question

IF on-time payments were made and they are reporting inaccurate-
I would dispute the payment history-

If they are going to report this way(that I do not think is right or legal) they must report accuate-
