Collection shows up twice: Valid?

If you have a chargeoff that has been sent to a collections agency, should this be listed as a Past Due Balance twice? Current, it lists this as Past Due for both the original creditor (Credit One Bank) and the collections agency (Cach LLC). On the summary page for 'Total Accounts', it also includes the amount twice.

We already sent out a PFD letter to the collections agency, but what should be done with the original credit? It doesn't seem right that a $769 debt is considered as over $1,500.

Credit One Bank        Bal $769        CO       DATE???
Cach LLC                   Bal $769               might show date opened

That is correct reporting. You only owe 1 amount.

What is your SOL?
I would have PFD the OC  first. then if accepted the CA would have had nothing to report.

By paying the CA (if accepted)  you now can only send GW to the OC
