Hi everyone this is my first time here. I have a charge off that's reporting a $0 balance and sold to a Collection agency. I recently did a PFD with them. Will it also remove the charge off as well...if not can I dispute the charge off or how can I remove it....
The collection and a charge off are two separate things... the PFD will get the collection removed, but the charge off will stay.
Disputing will do nothing, you'd have to ask the original creditor for a goodwill removal. It depends on who that is as to whether or not it will be a successful endeavor.

Sometimes, if you send the credit bureaus a verification letter, the lender doesn't bother to provide the verification, and the item automatically falls off of your report.
