Confirmation # on Equifax Report

I'm trying to correct some personal info on my Equifax report (including my birthdate, which seems rather important for records purposes) but I can't seem to find the confirmation # for the CR required by customer service for phone disputes (already tried mailing in dispute over two months ago). Called myfico but they didn't have it. Where can I find this?

It's not available on myfico.com. I think the number is available on your report if you get it from annualcreditreport.com. If not, you can always get it by going to equifax.com and paying $11 for your CR, which I did last night. For some reason it was showing that my EQ CR was frozen when using annualcreditreport.com.

If you dispute something with Equifax, they mail you back a letter with your results. On the back of the first page there is a confirmation number that is good for 60 days that you can use on their website.
