Consolidation loan

So I'm on a journey to bring my credit card balances to zero this year. I have a loan that I'm about to pay off with my credit union and be done with it. Towards the end of the year they offer a"holiday loan" with a pretty good repayment option. I don't know how far along I will be on my cards by that time after a few "bonuses" (not really bonus) drop into my accounts throuughout the year but I was thinking about maybe getting a debt consolidtion loan towards the end of the year to finish those preditory cards off. I have two of them (Credit One and First Premier) don't shoot me I had to see for myself what the fuss was about. I haven't had any bad experiences but I'd rather not pay those extra AF's. I'm looking to get better cards to replace these cards with better cards like Chase,Citi,Discover maybe eventually AmEx. Does this seem like a good idea or should I just wait??? I'm as of right now gardening my credit at least until the end of the year.....

Re: Consolidation loan

What are your scores? You could check with LendingClub and Prosper. I was able to get a LendingClub loan to consolidate $35k of debt and save $300 a month.
