I unfortunately have a CFA on my credit report from a loan I got a couple months ago, i had no clue what a CFA was at that point and now i'm a bit worried about what it means for future approvals. I was supposed to be buying a used car here in the next 6 months, but now i'm terrified that i won't get approved for it because of the CFA on my report. I have okay ish credit, 735 EX 728 TU and 718 EQ. I guess my question is will it prevent me from getting future auto loans/credit cards? I would be financing through either NFCU or USAA if that matters.

In short, no a CFA account won't disqualify you from getting approved for financing. These accounts usually correlate with a minor FICO score hit but that in and of itself shouldn't present an issue.
