Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

I know this is probably the wrong area, but I wanted to help some people that have ran across a situation similar to me. Last year, I applied for a credit card and I was denied due to "too many recent inquires for this card" etc. At the time, I was like whatever I haven't applied for this card and just went about my business. I came across this forum and requested my annual credit report for all three bureaus. Oh man! I have over 30+ inquires (over 15 that were not from me) and I have had fraud alerts placed on my report several times. I made a complaint for all 3 three buruease seperately, and this Protection Burea really is helpful!!

Response from Experian (Smiley Happy)

.....But then I get this from Equifax Smiley Mad

Nope! I will be filing another complaint and attaching Experian awesome reply!!!

Re: Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

Sounds like this is a case of attempted ID Theft, there is a process to follow to get things that are not yours excluded. I would review this thread
