Hi Everyone, I received a collection notice from Convergent on 02/23/2019 for the amount for $251.00 (Creditor: PayPal Inc.). I had negative balance of $251.00 on my Personal PayPal account exactly 1 year ago. PayPal limited the access and I never logged into account again. Yesterday I paid the full amount online at Convergent website, and today I received an email from PayPal "We've added a credit to your PayPal account". It showing the exact amount which I paid to Convergent yesterday.
My question is, will it still be reported on my Credit Report as PAID Collection even i paid in FULL within 2 weeks of receiving the collection notice?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Without a specific agreement to delete the negative from your credit report, it will stay there until the DOFD passes 7 years.
I would contact them and see about having it removed since you paid it.
The negative balance on your personal PayPal account will not show on your credit report.
Its two different things between : your personal Paypal account and Paypal Credit account.

Sorry if I didn't make it clear. Its not showing on my report right now. I received the collection notice in mail, and paid it in full before even it reported on my CR. My question is that will they still report it to my credit report even I paid them?
It’s not a debt owed any longer, they have no reason to put it on your credit report.
