Just got an estimate from the plumber today for a garage conversion project, so I wanted to see what my options for personal loans were. These were all soft pull "check your rate" inquiries:
Loan amount requested: $13,000
SoFi Experian 706 (current score from yesterday's update)
Upgrade Transunion 755 (doesn't say but I can only assume its a FAKO)
Upstart Transunion 720, 740 vantagescore3.0
Pretty typical reasons given: derogatory accounts, utilization, etc
-FICO in sig are current
-1 collection and (2) 30d (1) 60d on TU, EX
- Aggregate Utilization 18% (largely due to an AU account, otherwise only 7%)
AU card 36% individual utilization
CareCredit (0% APR) 42% individual utilization
Can't do much about those baddies unfortunately, but I can come off of that AU card since my loan balances will be significantly less (will lose 3 years of age, but oh well) and do my best to pay that CareCredit under 30%.

Get off that card. Care Credit under 28% not 30%. That will help. Sorry about the denials.
Guess this was moved to this section. I got off of it the other day and that statement closes between 10-12 so should see the results next week some time.

@Blender Also check with your credit union if you have one they maybe able to see past that stuff and give you the loan no issue also see if you can get a cli on care credit it is a soft pull.
