I have been in garden for 3+ yrs and I am now getting accounts with balances down. I havent paid attention to my credit card comments in a while and today when I pulled my report I am seeing the following comments on EX & EQ...
Cap 1 = Account previously in dispute - investigation complete, reported by data furnisher
Discover (AU) = Completed investigation of FCRA dispute - consumer disagrees
Chase (AU) = FCBA dispute resolved - consumer disagrees

Hmm I feel like anything in the comments section is looked at by lenders

I suppose any comment that correlates to a baddie could reinforce it . Although the baddie is still there and the report would reflect that anyway. But general dispute comments and such not so much. I can say that by having had numerous comments , almost for each account during my rebuild , and had no affect on score and approvals.

Comments don't affect scores, but you can easily clean up your reports and get rid of them. Just call the bureaus and tell them you need/want them removed. They will do it. When applying for a mortgage, you are required to have the comments removed. No point in leaving them on there.
Not at all! continue on señor! I have 2 on my file.
