Credit Dropped!?

My score just dropped on Exp. by 15 pts, and on Transu. by 9 points since last month!? Why!?

I have the same available credit, no new accounts/no closed account, lower outstanding bills, no collections, no inquiries, no public notices....

In fact I had a 30 day late payment drop off this month from 3 years ago and a collection got dropped that never should have been there.

Why is my score lower now!? Help!

FICO is not a single scoring algorithm.  It comprises at least a dozen different algorithms.

When old derogs drop from your CR, that could easily move you to a new, and totally different scoring algorithm.  Something that is commonly referred to on here as a new "scoring bucket." 

You are now being viewed against a whole new community of consumers, with cleaner credit files.
