When I want to know a baseball score I don't check out a basketball website. Nor do I think the site is fake for not showing baseball scores.
I don't know if this was directed to me or not, but where did I state that I was using CK for credit scores?
I'm very clearly talking about the "reports" and not the scores since I know it's a FAKO (as stated in my first post).
@Walt_K wrote:+1. In my experience, they've been the same. There's a lot of bashing of CK here but without comparison to a TU report. If you're looking at CK and something is missing, and you can't confirm that it is on TU, then you don't really know if CK has an issue or if it just isn't on your TU report.
Guilty as charged. I thought it was two different things, but as evidenced by this thread, I learned that CK is only an intermediary pulling whatever TU has on it.
That's why I should consider changing the thread name to TransUnion = LOL.

I wasn't necessarily talking about the "scores" themselves, but what information is used to gather specific scores. You mentioned your AAoA, utilization and how CK is painting a very incomplete picture of what your credit should look like. The info pulled from TU to compile a CK score is used differently than the same info used to compile a Fico score. Doesn't mean the info they use is a "misdirection". If they were trying to give a true Fico score I could see where there would be an issue. I happen to find the site pretty useful and nothing laughable about it.
Edited to add: I might agree with post above mine about TU. They do seem to be a bit slow when adding or removing info; but then again I don't know when or how creditors update to CRAs either.
