No thats why i orginally paid for the myfico eq one it did monitoring and gave fico score. This is an bit off topic but I am intrigued to see if citi really will offer free fico scores with their cards starting next month, and if amex will follow suit with free ex fico score.
Just an update on this. I just realized that Mint.com offers EQ credit monitoring for free (together with some FAKO EQ score which I don't value at all basically)

It does work. I just apped for a card that pulled EQ here, got the notification of the HP the next day. Yay!
