Imagine my surprise when my FICO score turned out to be 767 while CK had me @ 667-701 fluctuating every 7 days !? Some of the credit cards they suggested I had a very good chance of getting I was declined some they said I had a poor chance at I got. I joined a local credit union and that changed everything!!
I like CK, been using it for quite some time and will continue to do so. As long as you use it for what it is, it has definetly helped me.
I too like CK for the information it gives me as far as my accounts are concerned, but the score has been worthless. It shows I have a 755 score for both bureaus, yet my FICO score is 650. Had me under a false sense of security there for awhile. Got a cold dose of reality when I got a rejection letter with the FICO score.

Scoring differences are a very common topic here. Don't overlook prior discussions as well as the Understanding FICO Scoring subforum.
In short, you should expect different scoring models to produce different results. The different algorithms evaluate the data in a given report differently. It's not just a matter of FAKO versus FICO but any scoring model versus any other scoring model. Even FICO has a number of different scoring models used by creditors.
Not sure which FICO you're referring to but determine the specific model. CK now provides VantageScore 3.0. Make sure you're considering the CRA as well as the scoring model when comparing.

It doesn't matter what CK (or any source) tells you. A creditor will use whatever scoring model they use and whatever CRA they use to make their decision. If you want to know what score a creditor will pull for you then you need to know both the specific model and the CRA. That said, you won't be able to obtain a score for every model out there.
Additionally, CK and other card recommendation sites do not make the approval decision for the creditor -- the creditor does. Such sites can only guess at your chances and it's in their interest to suggest cards as they get referral fees.
Interesting. I was expecting a similar result when I signed up here ( lower FICO scores than my KC scores. ) I was pleasantly surprised to find that my FICO scores were all higher than the respective scores given from KC.
TU - 777 on KC, 788 on myFico.
EQ - 776 on KC, 780 on myFico.
