I wanted to share information with everyone that affects credit monitoring while a credit freeze is in place. Supposedly if you do credit monitoring and monitor all three credit bureaus the credit freezes should allow you to do so with no problems or issues.
I have a 3 in 1 credit monitoring through the Equifax Credit Bureau (Equifax Personal Solutions). In order for me to monitor all three bureaus I had to remove my freezes with both Experian & Transunion. I wish that the credit bureaus would make changes so that when the consumer themselves, monitored their own credit reports, that credit freezes would not be an issue. So I had to remove my freezes with them.
On a last note I added a consumer statement that states all creditors need to call me first at a specific phone number as well as I have stated that I will only apply for credit right here only in my home area. The statement is better than nothing.
