Credit Repair Questions

Almost 3 month ago, I took the plunge and decided to go to credit repair for assistance. They have been most helpful and I have learned a lot. I would like to qualify to buy a home by late October... I have a score now of 565, but need at least 700 to qualify for something good. There are a TON of things that the credit repair will remove and I know it will take a while to get things fixed. I don't know how quickly I will see a difference on my report. So, do you think I might make it close to 700 by Sept or Oct? Anyone with similar experiences?

Congrats. However, credit repair is a DIY thing and using a "service" is very dangerous. Why not save your money and do it yourself?

I am learning a lot from what they are doing. I would love to do this myself, but have no idea of where to start, where to get the forms, what to say or do. There are so many books, computer programs, etc out there, I just wouldn't know which one is the most reliable. Any suggestions?
