Hello! I am confused by something and I know credit sesame is a Fako but still why are my scores on monitoring here in the mid 650s and on the Fako sites they are showing 592 (GASP!!)
Credit Sesame is nothing more than an estimate. You can use it to see trends with your score and to see your accounts. Wouldn't rely on it for much else. I think it says my score is actually higher than it truly is.
There are many scores out there and some put their emphasis on a longer paying history, age of accounts, etc. Others will only worry about the last two years. So there will be big differences in your scores. Sometimes as much as 100 points or more.

Credit sesame is good for ex monitoring thats probably about it, what is actually on your CR is much more important than an score fico or fako

I thought so but I applied for j crew today and its claiming the score they pulled is 598-wth...but if I paid for this website to monitor my credit wouldnt their scores be more realistic? *running back to the garden where i belong*
Ghgirl, Comenity uses an internal scoring method. I'm not sure of any Fako sites that replicate it.
Websites like Credit Karma and Credit Sesame can be good for monitoring alerts, but if you're strictly monitoring your scores you need to get a Fico score. Some of the credit cards also offer it.

FAKO or FICO different scoring models will produce different results because they evaluate the data in a given report differently. You should expect different algorithms to produce different results. Despite how many seem to oversimplify and refer to any FICO as "real" or "true" this applies to FICO as well as they have many more than just one scoring model in use by creditors. See also the Understanding FICO Scoring subforum and its stickies.

It all depends on what scoring model the creditor uses. The scores provided by myFICO are FICO 08 though there are a couple of other scores available now as well. If a creditor doesn't use the model you're referring to then you should expect a difference whether or not the score is a FAKO or FICO.
