Re: Credit increase, time

Great to see you doing that research, Alex.  You'll see in that thread that somebody helpfully gives the 800 # for Credco.  You'll note that another one of the commenters says it was easy to call and find out why Credco was used to do an inquiry.  Give them a call tomorrow and I am sure you'll find out.

The speculation in that thread that the Credco inquiry caused the score drop is just that - speculation. An inquiry is an inquiry. The company from which it comes doesn't change the impact of the inquiry.

Maybe.

But I don't see any other reason why my TU score dropped.  It was in the same time when this inquary appear in my TU report.

i have 10 months credit history.  I would like to know what credit score I can expect on near feature.

For example, can I expect 750 Fico on 12 months credit history or this is impossible?   What max credit score I can expect on 12, 18, 24 months? 720 or 780???    What's max limits on these time frames?   So I guess someone with 5 years credit history can reach more highly credit score than someone with 1 year credit history with other equal factors.

As an update, I went through some of my old threads and found my score at 30 months, 48 months, and 72 months and updated that thread, located here: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Understanding-FICO-Scoring/My-Credit-Journey-snapshot-Road-to-800/m-p/2674891

@Keep in mind, this was my score on EQ04 @ 30 months and 48 months.  Once I hit 72 months I was updating with EQ08 score.  Based on my experience, you hit 750s much faster on EQ08 scoring than on EQ04
