Hey I recently open A fingerhut account to reestablish some credit history and I was wondering should I pay my balance in full which is only 60$ or should I make the monthly minimum payments so I can have some credit history ...And also if I make monthly payments is it the same as having A credit rebuilding loan. No, a revolving credit is a revolving credit no matter how you pay.

Also, building credit history has nothing to do with carrying a balance and paying interest (paying just the minimum) vs PIF therefore you should always PIF when you're able, carrying balance should be a necessity, not a choice. What is important in building history is to never be late and maintain 100% payment record.
