Credit scores (differences)

Is it possible to have 2 really good credit scores from 2 different bureaus and 1 not so good? I find this weird and it's with EQ. Has anyone experienced this, if so what'l was the outcome? Does it highly affect how companies look at your credit?

Thanks in advanced.

Re: Credit scores (differences)

There is different information on different your credit reports from each of the three credit reporting agencies.  Look at what is reporting on the EQ report to get an idea of where you might be losing points.  You never know which CRA a lender will pull from, and some pull all three.

EX:694 TU:744 EQ:777
Amex ED $19.5k - BoA Travel Rewards $15k - CSP $5k - SDFCU EMV $15k - NFCU goRewards $20k - Barclays Arrival $6.5k

Unless the scoring model is identical in all three cases, the comparison may not be meaningful.  The scores available on this site range from TU 98 to EQ 04 to EX 08.

Beyond that, it's as others have mentioned.  For example, I have a closed installment loan on TU, that never reported to EQ, and was deleted from EX.

Re: Credit scores (differences)

It's easily possible.  Your scores are based on the data in your reports with the 3 CRA's.  If the data varies that's one possibility for a difference in scores.  If scores are pulled at different timeframes that could also affect the data in the reports.  If different scoring models are used then that's yet another factor that could affect the scores.

Depends on which CRA's the creditor pulls.  If they only pull one then it doesn't really matter.  If they pull multiple it will.  Have you pulled your reports to verify?
