I too used the automated service to cancel credit check total and received the offer for 50% off for the next 5 years. Absolutely amazing deal. I also learned about credit check total from these forums so thanks everyone
Five years???
I agree. I too called CCT after my trial period was over and got the 14.95 a month for two years. I'll take it.
I called today and spoke with a rep who offered $14.97 for one year. She said they are no longer offering the 24 month promo and that I could call back when the year is up and see if they are offering another promo. Hmmm, that doesn't line up with what is posted here. I think I'll call back tomorrow.
Or rather, I'll try the automated system. Is it the same number as their "customer care" line?
Does it really pull and update that much. You don't need a qualifying event?

I signed up with CCT last week and canceled and was offered $14.97 for 24 months. I took the offer.
Did you receive that offer today or did you sign up *and* cancel last week? I'm just curious as I was told yesterday that my best offer was 12 months. I called back today and the person I spoke with said they could only go with the offer that was already in the system which was 12 months. I've been trying out a number of monitoring services and will settle soon on the one I like best. I like the myFICO system, particularly the app, but wish I could access actual reports frequently.
Credit Check Total vs Experian Score Tracker
I have been using the Experian site to keep track of my Experian report/score. I get daily report and FICO score updates every day that I sign on. A couple times a month they update on their own, without me visiting the site. What I don't get is any EQ or TU reports/scores.
With Credit Check Total, I signed up yesterday and got the three-bureau report along with the FICO scores for all three bureaus. Today, nothing on that site has updated. The Experian score is still from yesterday, as is the Experian report which is part of the 3-bureau report. It clearly says generated 7/18. I read their FAQ, and it says you have "unlimited access" to your Experian report. Next time I see a change on the Experian site, I'm going to check to see if it changes on Credit Check Total. Hopefully that happens in the next week, so I can beat the deadline for cancelling. I think it's just careful wording--what you really seem to get is a 3-bureau report/scores a couple times a month, plus monitoring. You don't get to view a daily updated report and you don't get a daily updated Experian score like you with Experian Scoretracker.
I wish each bureau would give you a daily report/FICO score. I'd subscribe to all three until my rebuilding is further along.
I have cancelled MyFico as well and decided to go with CreditCheckTotal too. I just got off the phone with CCT to "cancel" my trial. They offered me the service for $9.95! It is a no brainer basically. Daily experian scores and fresh reports and scores 3 times a month with all three bureaus for $9.95. Compare that to MyFico's $24.95 deal that only lets you pull a new report ONCE A YEAR. MyFico needs to get on the ball if they ever want me to consider them again.

Congrats! Really, $9.95? That's the lowest I've ever heard reported for CCT!
$9.95? Wow, that is great. Is it one year or two year?
There were reports that the $14.97 for one year would end on the 19th (today), so perhaps this is the new deal?
Anyone else getting this offer?
