Re: CreditCheckTotal Pull Now!

Looks like I called it. Cheaper for Experian to limit all CCT members at once, and issue refunds to members who complain about losing 3B pulls. One sees this all the time in business. Not condoning such actions, but one should plan for it. For members who lose 3B pulls, ask for a refund.

Re: CreditCheckTotal Pull Now!

Is the 3B monthly credit pulls up to us when we want to pull them or is it (I assume this one) forced on each person's monthly credit card renewal date?

Does this mean every single CCT members renewal date every month has been changed to the 9th and every month the 9th is the date all 3B pulls happen?

I pray to the Credit Gods and wish we could force Experian, Equifax and Transunion into a Jean Claude Van Damme Bloodsport fight to the death match on each other and then we would only have to deal with the one credit bureau still alive! Smiley Tongue

Re: CreditCheckTotal Pull Now!

My hunch it will be based on the member's original sign up date (which often varies a few days from the billing date; my cycle starts 10th with billing on 13th). Whether 3B pull will occur on that exact day or a fixed offset, I can't say. But whatever is easiest for Experian to program is likely what it will be. Easiest, while being economical (likely ruling out doing all on same day), would be doing 3B pull on the same day of the month as of the member's original sign up or current billing date.

Re: CreditCheckTotal Pull Now!

Your membership should renew on the same date, but anytime after 10/9/15 if you have already renewed for the month of October, then you can pull. I don't think CCT knows for sure.

Re: CreditCheckTotal Pull Now!

It sucks but the only impact for me will be convenience. I will use CCT for daily Experian reports and scores. I will use CK for Transunion and Equifax reports weekly, and my other credit cards for my Transunion and Equifax FICO's.

Re: CreditCheckTotal Pull Now!

@Lysol

That's what everyone's strategy should be IMO.

For me, CCT costs a little over $15/month with tax. Roughly .50 cents per day for a DAILY REAL FICO 08 Experian score and full report.

That's an insane value for the money.

Then for weekly updates on EQ and TU a person uses Credit Karma, but only to track balances/deletions/inquiries/credit line increases (not the crapola Vantage Scores they give). Then you can get a FICO 08 Transunion score from any Wal-mart card (store or MC), American Express gives you an Experian score (don't know if it's a real FICO 08 or not) and what credit card gives you a real FICO 08 or 04 Equifax score?

Re: CreditCheckTotal

I was told the exact opposite in two seperate occasions.
Once called in and check with a rep, hung up after.
Second, called in and asked for a supervisor. Asked everything and they assured me it's as stated before.
Literally seconds ago I got off the phone, I can pull one now if I please(won't) then on the 22nd I can pull my 3rd report, then I'll be on the one report cycle. Do what you please. But 'pulling your reports' is going to back yourself into an unnecessary corner of your own creation.

Re: CreditCheckTotal Pull Now!

Yes, in fact I got two, which is odd because I pulled experian this morning. I have both experian(still on trial) and cct.
