CreditWorks Premium +/- ~UPDATED 7/8

With CCT going away I thought I would take ECWP for a spin.  Cost is $ 4.99 30-day trial.  As with CreditBasics the interface remains mostly the same.  Getting the TU/EQ F8s is instant.  one can print a nice looking report or individual screens.  EX F2, F3, A8, BC8 are also inc with the printout.  does not appear a way to get a consolidated print of all 3B but one can take a nice screen print of it along some details.  Cancellation or downgrading is done via the profile icon and its instant and yields a confirmation #.  my god, no more CCT calls or email lol.  one cannot get a new trial for 30 days and the ECPW data stays online for that entire time.  The EX score will refresh daily.

Simulations will work for paying cards down or age related events but not for derogs or negs.  I just tried 2 accounts, one with a CO falling off next month and the other with a bk7 falling off in a year and it does not capture and recalculate the scores for either.  I know the CO, which is tied to a car repo has a value of ~75+ based on EQ mysteriously removing it last month.  Can't have it all.  as long as someone is not totally crazy about seeing their TU/EQ every week I think this is a dandy solution for <$60/year.  I can see using it every quarter just to keep tabs.  If one wants a refresh on the free EX offering or to see softpulls just start a dispute and back into the credit report section again.

Re: CreditWorks Premium +/-

Thanks for the heads up. They won’t let me get the trial because I’m already signed up with them unfortunately.

right, one has to wait 30 days.  if you cancel now you can still get to all the info as well as a daily ex refresh.  its pretty workable imo, at least in socal ex is everyones low score as that is what is pulled most often so who cares about tu/eq ha-ha

Thanks for the recon mission, bourgogne. You've added some good intel.

A couple of points are unclear to me though -- mind a few questions?

1) No new trial for 30 days: so if I started a trial on 7/01 and cancelled on 7/02 effective 7/31, does this mean I could not take a new trial until 9/1 at the earliest?

2) Ex score refreshes daily: daily, as in the 30 days of the free trial? will it refresh also the 30 days trial is over and the account is in "timeout" (the month of August from the example above)?

3) start a dispute ... credit report section: I don't follow this. What sort of dispute and what access does that gain?

recon lol, np...I was going to add a few things but as to your questions;

1) start a trial on 7/1, cancel the same day.  one will get a daily new EX score and one cannot start a new trial until 30 days have past, so 8/1 in this example

2) EX refresh is daily whether or not you cancel or keep the trial in place.  meaning there is no benefit to keeping the trial going imo, best to cancel or have a good calendar lol

3) ignore, this was a trick for the basic but is not needed in with CWP.

minor but a few new things. now a day after I did my trial on the overview splash page it now only shows the EX, yesterday it was all 3B and was nice as one can hit a tab and drill into the details.  On EX only there are a few tools to run whatifs, the score planner no longer works even on an archive.  no clue if this by design or a glitch but its the same for the few other accounts I looked at.  one has the option of a total refresh for $ 29.99, they push this option all over the place.

imo for $ 4.99/month this offering blows CCT out of the water for the simple fact of having a new EX score daily.  this assumes one is not waiting for something on TU/EQ to fall off but that is where CreditKarma comes in.  couple with a way to cancel on the portal instantly and a nice clean layout makes me a believer and I for one will not miss CCT @ all.   CCT is/was time consuming, CWP takes ~1 min to get a new trial, cancel and get new daily ex scores.  I sound like a shill for them but I love this tool.
