Forgive me for such a seemingly asinine question, but I am HP adverse. ![]()
Because my recent bottled water delivery company plans to raise rates 25% per 5 gallon jug at the end of the month, I plan to jump ship to the only other water game in town. HOWEVER, they run a credit check...lol ![]()
I was in the queue for 19 minutes when someone answered and hung up, so I thought I would post here...assume some of you credit gurus have experience with Crystal Springs and whether or not their review is coded as a SP or HP.
I found a 'Crystal Springs sucks' post or two in the forums, but nothing discussing the credit check...for water. Crazy. I shouldn't give them any business on principle, but $2/jug a month adds up. ![]()
Any ideas?
From the bottom of their website in the fine print. Looks like a HP is in order.
"Credit approval required for residential customers."
See if you can place a credit card on file with them to pay for your future purchases. I would try to avoid an account where a private company has all your info, SS#, DOB etc. that would make me un easy. I would prefer if you just placed a credit card or debit card on file with them. Tell them you do not know how safe and secure your info would be in their system.
If someone gets your CC number you can always dispute any charge that is not yours.
Thanks
Mark

Right. That's what led me here to ask if perhaps they code it as a SP vs. HP. ![]()
