So, if I had a credit card, and got 60 days, then got up to date, then got 90 days and to collection, when would the DOFD be, from the 60 or the 90?

I think I asked the same question a few months ago and the answer I got was: DOFD is the first missed payment that lead to the delinquency that resulted in the CA or CO action. That is, the date from which you did not return to an "ok" status.

Others will chime in, I'm sure.

atlas is correct.

DOFD would be the date of the missed payment that led to the charge off/collection status.
