FAKOs aren't worthless. You just have to assign the proper value to them.

FAKOs are a sextant and compass.

FICOs are GPS. Actually, they're more accurate than that. They are a USASF A-team on the ground painting the target with a laser pointer.

Re: Daily pulls with TC? Is it worth it?

Well....I'll rephrase then. The FAKO's are worthless "to me."

My TU FAKO is 70 points LESS than my FICO.
My EQ FAKO is 40 points HIGHER than my FICO.
My EX FAKO is 109 points LESS than my FICO. 109 points! That's a pretty bad compass. It would point me South when I'm actually going North.

Those are huge differences and I would never make judgment calls based on FAKO scores. I think the ability to do daily pulls is extremely useful though.

On another note, it's really irritating when you edit a post and it takes out your line breaks.

I can't understand why  TC hasn't updated the true balances on my credit card accounts.  The balances they are carrying are as of  May 22, 2007 and are good until June 21, 2007.   My balances are the same when I pulled them on May 1, 2007.  My scores did go up, but my balances didn't go down.  I am so confused LOL.  I pulled my scores just moments ago and the balances are still too high.  Some accounts I have paid over $1K to since they last reported the correct balances.  I haven't checked FICO since 5-2-07.

Your CR becomes so big (usually because of so many soft inquiries) they split your file. Sometimes you can have multiple FICO scores because of it. You may have 20 TL's in good standing and 1 TL in bad standing, but when your file gets split. One file could be those 20 TL's that are in good shape and the other could be the 1 TL that's in bad shape....So you may really have a 700 FICO because of all of your positive TL's but you could have another fico of 550 because of that file with the one bad TL.

You can get them merged back into one, but sometimes the CRA's are slow to do it, or you get a CSR who's never seen it before.

FYI.. Soft Inqs are not the only cause for split files.. Usually a slight variation of the name or address on either data input or credit reporting, in addition to multitudinous soft inquiries can cause a CR to split.
