Thanks @thornback for the info. I didn't realize having an Experian membership cancelled out the $1 trial.
I have a free membership & do $1 trials once or twice per month.

It would not let me do this.... i guess OP can try and see what happens..
I agree you should pull your credit reports, but I recommend pulling one every four months that way you have a "fresh" one every four months. You can get your TU and Equifax report from Credit Karma for free. You already are receiving your Experian score. Maybe pull the TU and compare it with the CK score.

That's odd. Perhaps it's as simple as which point of entry you are using to access your free Ex account? I enter here (Member Login):
Yea, that's exactly where/how tried to sign up - and it redirected me to my EX membership page to upgrade in order to pull all 3 scores / reports.

Okay. Now if you select the $1 trial it should take you to your sign in page & then into (now) a free trial for 30 days.

Nope.. there is no trial offer option on my membership page. It asks to upgrade at the regular cost.
Perhaps it's because I've had paid membership in the past and downgraded.
@Anonymous wrote:Slight back story, i use experian to check all of my scores, hit the love button just to see what would happen as my capital one card was just upgraded from a platinum to QS, they declined it (bummer) but the score they provided in the decline letter from equifax was over 100 points lower than the one showing on experian and I was wondering how this was possible?
Capital One usually uses Equifax FICO 5.
The score you got from Experian is probably Experian FICO 8.
Gotcha, Yeah have figured that out and for everyone posting about the scores, and how to view them i personally use experian to view all 3 TU EX and EQ credit karma scores are a bit off as well but not much and citi bank shows me a score, capital one shows me a score and my auto loan through ally shows me i believe fico auto 3? could be wrong on that.
