May not be the right place to post......Have a Discover CC with 5K CL.......got an offer today for a personal " Debt Eraser Loan" from Discover.. anybody ever done this before is it somehow related to the credit card. Sorry if this is something that should be posted elsewhere.

It think this is ok place. im not sure if that is associated with your card. does not sound like. it. as barclays has to bt checks that you can write to your self from your card. but this is different. does it give you rates? or anything like that?
It's a totally separate entity from your credit card, that happens to be underwritten by discover financial services.
This is a debt consolidation loan.

I have no business with Discover and got that Debt Eraser Loan offer a couple of weeks ago. It stated APR between 6.25% and 18.25% or something like that, depending on profile. I fed my shredder.
