Might be slightly off topic, but I signed up for Discover checking after receiving a mailer today (basically no fees, a lot more free ATMs, 10 cents back per debit card swipe/check cashed/online bill pay, free checks, and $50 credit for opening the account). I forgot to go through the link they provided for the cash back. My banking profile wasn't even set up yet, and I chatted with a rep on the discover card side to see if I could still capitalize on the offer. Without hesitation they offered to add $50 to my cash back total next statement. Good people I tell you.
