Disputing a debt with Equifax restarts SOL?

If I dispute a debt with Equifax and it comes back as valid, will this restart the SOL of the account under collection?

No-

But it will often get the CA's attention and make the collection appear more recent.

I say always DV prior to disputing CA's. (or at the same time even better)

So with something like this on my credit, does this mean that the SOL is 6 years after 07?

Date Opened: 11/2005
Date Reported: 08/2007

[Equifax] Consumer disputes after resolution Subject has not satisfied debt.

No- The CA will drop based on the original DOFD +7 years (reporting SOL).

This date is required and would be a violation to change it.

SOL is how long they have to sue you-
