Do I have the right plan?- Disregard this, cat hit a button and post was submitted before finished and I didn't realize it. Sry

I have read a lot on these boards over the past month or so. I have to say there is a lot of useful and good to know information on here. Only if I'd found them sooner. That being said......I am trying to get my husband's credit cleaned up. I have a copy of his credit report from Equifax that a creditor gave me. Here is what he has.

Re: Do I have the right plan?

Not suggesting this but having something placed on my credit file for 16 and 20 plus bucks would peeve me enough to tell them to stick it.  I would not pay unless pay for delete for amounts that small.  If it were important enough for them to put on your file it must be important enough for them to delete once they get their money.  Otherwise your jut throwing money down the tolet because the collections will not be removed and the Score will still consider tem.  If you're buying a house, most mortgage lenders will overlook them.

Re: Do I have the right plan?

Thank you for your response. This is actually only half the post. My cat hit a button and it was submitted prematurely. I just noticed it.  Thank you though.   It does kind of upset me over the small amounts. It cost them more to post this on my credit, then they'll receive. What I mean by costing them is the amount they paid their employee to submit the information, send letters, and call.

Thank you.

Re: Do I have the right plan?

I would be careful around that cat...today, the feline posted for you on the Internet. Tomorrow, it may rally other cats to its cause. Next week, human civilization could be threatened with a cataclysmic cat-driven collapse. A century from now, intelligent felines toting guns may menace hapless astronauts who hit a timewarp and crash-land on a future Earth...
