Does Transunion always lag behind?

Just checked my TU and as of now (3/1/11) they dont have anything updated past January of this year.

Why are they always so slow to update? Is it my creditors? On my other reports everything is up to date.

Just frustrated.  Sorry if this has been covered.

It really depends on when you disputed an item, if they deleted it updated it or not.  Sometimes it takes 30-90 days.  I actually just had a great experience with TU.  I am persoanlly having issues with Experian.  I contacted a creditor concerning a collection account that I settled.  The person from the original crfeditor informed me to call the credit agency to attempt to get it updated quicker. 

I called TU only expecting them to update the tradeline as paid.  After 24hrs I checked my credit report and the deleted the collection account.  It's good for me because I was only expecting them to update as being paid. 

Good luck, I know it gets frustrating but hang in there.  I'm trying to find patience with Experian.

Well, no I didnt dispute anything. On every tradeline they only have it updated to Jan. Ex and EQ are current.

i think it just varies by creditor, but TU is usually behind on about half of my accounts.

TU is the worst at reporting speeds for me as well.. annoying as heck sometimes

Okay so I guess its normal. Just sucks because I'm trying to get my credit buffed up for an upcoming apartment rental application.
