Drop Off dates 6 months apart for same tradeline

On DH's CBRs one of his collection TLs shows that it will drop off of EX on 11/2008, but TU reports it will drop off on 5/2009. EQ doesn't show the drop off date at all.

Why would the drop off dates be so far apart? Is it possible that I can get TU to honor the EX drop off date?

Unfortunately EX doesn't care about TU and vice-versa.

1-2 months is normal but 6 is stretching it. If you had a copy of your last bill with the OC that proves DOFD, it may be worth a shot to send it to TU and ask them to adjust the date.

Thanks for the reply llecs. I kinda expected that to be the reality.

Unfortunately I don't have a single piece of documentation for any of DH's old accounts, so I guess there's not much I can do but wait for it to drop off. There are plenty of other items on his CBR I can work on while waiting.
