Anyone heard of them???? they just pulled an inquiry on my Credit Report! without my Authorization!

Wanna, they hit DH's reports back when we were mortgage shopping. While we never found out exactly WHO initiated it (apparently, they're doing the credit legwork for another mortgage company), we apped with LendingTree (aka eLoan), QuickenLoans, CountryWide and Amerisave ... and one other whose name I can't recall.

But EMS works as an information gatherer for mortgage companies -- sorta like LandSafe does.

So I guess the pertinent question is: HAVE you apped for any mortgages lately?? If yes, it's prolly them. If no, send'em the Non-PP letter and spank'em GOOD.

They got me two months ago. I closed on a house in October and then got the pull a month later. If you're in the same boat, then it's an audit and you did agree to it somewhere in all that paperwork you signed.

If you didn't just close on a house, then I don't know what to tell you.

We applied to rent a townhouse in VA two days ago and this showed up as an alert. I guess the owners are using them to verify credit????

Your lender used Equifax Mortgage Services to provide a Tri-pull.

This is a CRA they pull on behalf of their client which is reported as the end user on the credit report. If it does not display on the credit report call customer service.
