Email address for a CA??

I have an old collection that I paid off and would like (of course) to get it removed early.  It is from 02/2003 and I tried to PFD but they wouldn't budge.  I would like to EMAIL the owner/president of the company (it is a small company) to get them to remove it early but don't know how the get the email address.   Not sure it would help since their own website states:

"Removal of Debts from Credit File - It is extremely important for our company to maintain the integrity of the credit file.  We currently report to both Equifax & Experian Credit Reporting Agencies.  The fundamental duty of these agencies is to “show the entire picture” of a consumer’s credit history; deleted accounts will give lenders a false and inaccurate picture of the consumer’s timeliness, willingness, and/or ability to pay.  Due to our contract with these agencies, we can not randomly delete accounts from the credit file.  Such actions would render the credit file useless and, in some cases, be viewed as fraudulent.  It is XXX’s policy to place unpaid accounts on the credit file and report the new balance as payments are made on the account. In other words, it is important that clients and consumers understand that accounts are not deleted upon payment, they are simply marked paid in full.  Accounts will only be deleted when placed on the credit file in error.  In such cases, we require that the client provide written documentation detailing the error and requesting the debt be removed from the credit file."

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the email address?  Any suggestions on how to phrase the email?

Re: Email address for a CA??

Before you contact XXX's company trying to get an account deleted. I would call the OC and speak to a manager or supervisor with a sympathetic ear. Explain your situation and that you have made good on the debt however it's hindering ability to establish credit even though it's paid it causes your score to drop see if they would give a written authorization on Co Letter head to have the derog removed. If they do give authorization then fwd a copy to the CA owner/president via snail mail CRRR. Don't hurt to try!

I actually already talked to the CA and sent letters.  They won't budge either.

Re: Email address for a CA??

If you haven't tried already, and the balance is $0, try a GW or DV (on this paid CA).

If you google the CA, eventually you can find a name. If no name and the CA's name is vague, then try googling their phone or fax or even address. You can also check the whois domain registration for the site and pull off a contact name or two including phone numbers. Use that to backtrack and try googling those.

Eventually, you'll find a contact name doing this. Typically CAs will join CA associations and attend seminars. Most of this info is available on the web. When CAs go to these things, the company Pres or the main contact within the org. will attend. It is very easy to lift an e-mail off those lists.

Also, CAs will join civic or chamber of commerces. You can easily find info in there.
