Equifax - Problem with 2 Last Names

Hey guys, I wanted to know if someone has experience with this sort of issue ):

So being the Latin American that I am, I have two last names (for illustration purposes, my name will be John Smith Hanks). I've never had any problems using only my first and first last name on everything (John Smith). Recently, while updating my CreditKarma account, it says that my Equifax file is too thin to generate a history. Below, it says that equifax changed my name from John Smith to John Hanks, which apparently messed up everything. I thought it was only a one time thing, but then CK updated again and still the same. I tried getting the report monitorying from AMEX and same thing: no history from Equifax (I'm assuming it's because of the name issue). Same thing here in MyFico. Anybody had this happen before? I have a year and a half credit history, including 6 CC's and an auto loan.

It's a unique problem for sure.  Have you tried calling Equifax.  They are the ones you are going to need to fix the problem. They got that name from somewhere and if you don't use it you need to get it fixed as fast as possible.
