I’ve learned MORE about Equifax than I care too! I currently have a maintenance update in progress to remove the excessive soft inquiries. It was suppose to take 2-3 days and it’s been 12. Meanwhile, no one can access my credit file and I’m in the midst of a mortgage. So freaking frustrating.

Initially I got some great OCA agents that made updates/corrections to my file in 29 minutes or less but when it comes to these technical issues it takes forever.

I’m in the middle of building a house too and had to remove dispute remarks from all creditors and am supposed to have credit pulled again. Same boat getting mismatch equifax message

They would not transfer me to OCA
Sure enough when my lender tried to pull credit reports last week
Equifax didn’t pull
I’m so tired of calling equifax to be told nothing is wrong

I don’t know what else to do
I have 2 CFPB complaints outstanding

If you have a legitimate ("I'm not claiming fraud but EQ won't delete the HP for me" for example isn't legitimate) ongoing issue that they haven't been able to rectify go ahead and file a CFPB complaint.

Keep in mind that they will generally have 60 days to respond and IME probably won't until Day 59.
