Re: Equifax and credit monitoring

CNBC is reporting a major equifax data breach, wonder if this has anything to do with it, apparently involves people who subscribe to this service.

B4 I found out about the breach, I got so made I cancelled. Maybe we will get free monitoring (not that it works).
Current Scores as of 8/18/17 all FICO 8 EQ: 695 EX: 673 *fico2 699 TU:645 bio has more.

I would love to have the service, and was willing to pay the fee for it when it worked, but apparently there are massive IT problems in that organization.

This comment is rather fortuitous...

Equifax has made me nervous since I first used their website... Clearly the design and look was far outdated. They are always messing up reports. How are they still in business, with IT problems this bad??

I just spent 1 1/2 hours on the phone with 4 different departments at Equifax. I can't access my credit reports or scores through a credit monitoring subscription because Equifax won't let them pull my info. They have no idea no idea why. I am so frustrated because I have been working on my credit and I can't track my progress. Has anyone had this issue?

lucky you! I can't even get threw to talk to a human being! phone lines are busy! I haven't seen my equifax score in a over a week. I have no idea what happning! right before all hell broke loose they removed every AU I had on my accunt then I never was  never able to see my score again! ticks me off.

Re: Equifax and credit monitoring

I feel your pain. Although not the same issue, Equifax is the worst when in comes to its CSR and it’s credit monitoring services. My enrollment failed in their Trusted ID so I contacted them. 4 representatives (all heavy accents) and nothing. Finally the 5th (an American) tells me my credit history is too new, that it’s out of his hands....I have Fico and Fakos from all 3 CRA with 1 year history? Frustrating to say the least...
